Brian Joel Jolley is a lifelong learner and storyteller with a passion for exploring the connections between science, spirituality, and the evolution of consciousness. Originally trained as a computer engineer, Brian spent much of his career solving complex systems problems—only to realize that the most important systems in need of harmony were human ones.

His fascination with astronomy rekindled a deep sense of awe for the universe and our place within it. Over the past decade, that curiosity evolved into a quest to understand how awareness itself emerges—and why kindness may be the most important expression of it.

In Evolving Awareness: Why Kindness Matters, Brian re-frames the Genesis creation story as a naturalistic allegory for the evolution of life and consciousness, weaving together threads of science, myth, and meaning. His work invites readers to expand their sense of connection—to each other, to nature, and to the unfolding story of the cosmos.

When he isn’t writing or speaking about awareness and compassion, Brian can often be found under a star-filled sky with a telescope in hand, sharing the wonder of the universe with others, throwing darts at the pub, or out golfing with his son.
